Breakfast
Our breakfast buffet features regional products from Cologne, bread and rolls, cheeses and sausages, organic farm fresh eggs (made to order), honey, muesli and cereals, fresh fruit and juices.
Many products originate from farmers of the surrounding countryside which we know ourselves.
Several of the products are even homemade, like our very popular fresh baked bread with homemade butter and jam, or our fruit salad, accompanied by daily changing sweet and savoury specialities.
Our breakfast is definitely one of the main reasons why so many guests rave about their „StaR“ experience!

Our hotel does not offer a restaurant, however there are plenty of options available just nearby,
to name a few, we recommend:
- Weinhaus Brungs – our guests number 1, traditional german gasthaus with great food and a nice ambience
- Maibeck – great food, reasonable priced, reservation ahead of arrival recommended (we are happy to help)
- Via Sistina an Farina – our neighbourhood italian favorite
- Peters Brauhaus – Cologne brewery, you definitely need to try our „Kölsch“ beer!
